We are proud to operate an on-site recycling operation, incorporating a waste transfer station.
A big priority for the business is to recycle 100% of all road planings generated across our operations annually.
Our two-acre recycling depot crushes and screens all our construction waste to reuseable specifications that are all available for sale, whether on-site or through delivery.
How it works:
- All materials that arrive or leave our facility will cross our custom-built weighbridge.
- Materials that remain on-site are screened by our remotely-operated screener which produces a uniform grade of asphalt road planings that meets a Type 1 specification.
- The oversized material is stored separately and either crushed down to pass through the screener at a later date or sold as a deep fill/road base material for agricultural roads or site haul roads.
- All finished materials are then loaded via our own loader, with on-board weighing facility, and marketed back to local agricultural and construction sites.
All our recycling takes place on a two-acre depot at our headquarters in Hollow Road Farm, Bury St Edmunds.
